How RTT works: A step by step look at a session

What is RTT?

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) is a powerful therapeutic method that helps you identify the root cause of an issue, release what no longer serves you, and install new empowering beliefs.

People often turn to RTT when they have a problem that they can’t seem to find relief from, or when they feel stuck repeating patterns such as:

  • Emotional eating
  • Anxiety or overthinking
  • Self-doubt or low confidence

  • Loneliness and relationship blocks

The reason why RTT works is because it works with the subconscious mind — the place where habits, beliefs, and emotional memories live, to get to the root cause of why these problems and patterns exist.

When the root cause is removed, the symptom naturally dissolves.

What to Expect Before Your Session

Before we begin, I take time to create safety, clarity, and trust. I create a safe place for my clients to share their challenges, how it affects them, and I learn about your past- your childhood. I will listen to you and you will feel seen, validated and heard.

We talk about:

  • What you want to change
  • What you’ve already tried
  • What you want your life to feel like instead

Together we set a clear intention:

“I want to feel calm and confident.”
“I want a healthy relationship with food.”
“I want to trust myself.”

What to Expect During your Session:

Step 1: Gently Entering Hypnosis

Hypnosis is simply a relaxed state of focused attention. Hypnosis is not about being asleep, out of control or out of it. It is simply a quieting of the nervous system, allowing your full subconscious mind to be accessible- seeing what you need to see and being willing to take on suggestions.

My clients are in a very comfortable position where I can see their face and torso. As they relax, I take them through a rapid induction, and then deepen their level of relaxation. Hypnosis is necessary, as we access the place where transformation happens: the subconscious mind.

Step 2: Finding the Root Cause

This is where RTT is different from traditional therapy.

RTT uses a form of gentle regression — NOT reliving trauma — just observing memories with safety and distance. My clients are taken back to different events/scenes/memories that have everything to do with how, why, when, and where this problem began. The subconscious mind will bring these memories to the forefront of your mind - some being things that you remember and other scenes you don’t. The mind knows what you need to see.

Most clients see memories from their childhood, school, moments with family members or friends. These are moments when there was shame, fear, insecurity, feelings of being out of control, and more. In the exploration of these scenes, we discover what it is that was felt and what beliefs were created.

And here’s the powerful part:

You see how your mind created a belief.

You see how you’ve been carrying it for years.
And you realize you don’t need it anymore.

This alone is life-changing.

Step 3: Healing, Reframing and Releasing

Together we heal that younger version of you from the past. I will guide you to heal through loving yourself, validating yourself, and keeping yourself safe. Once you have done that, and are now advocating for that younger version of you, you easily speak the new beliefs, the new truths.

You speak new truths:

  • “I am enough.”
  • “I am safe now.”
  • “I choose confidence.”
  • “Food does not control me.”

Clients often cry, laugh, or simply feel relief.

You love yourself, and you let go of the limiting beliefs that have been with you all of these years.

Step 4: Your Transformational Recording

At the end of your session, I create a personalized hypnosis recording just for you that will install these new beliefs, the new truths about you.

You listen every day for 21 days.

This repetition rewires the brain.

New beliefs become familiar.
Habits shift.

Confidence grows.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • How Long Does an RTT Session Take?

A full session is 90 minutes to 2 hours.

  • Do I need to do it in person? What if I don’t live near you?

Most of my sessions are virtual, working over Google Meet. They are equally as effective and people love being in their own home.

  • Will I remember what we talked about?

You will be completely awake talking to me during the session and you will be pondering and processing the session for a day or two afterwards. You can share any and all of your thoughts with your loved ones or journal your feelings. After awhile, these memories will drift away, becoming part of your long term memory

  • How soon will I notice changes?

While I can’t guarantee what the result will be, I will help you get to the root cause of your problem. That being said, there are three ways in which you will notice changes:

  1. Right away- feeling lighter, happier, free.
  2. Over the three weeks as you listen to the recording.
  3. As you look back over time, recognizing the changes in your life.
  • How much does it cost?

The sessions range from $500- $1000 per round. Because there can be layers to a problem, I insist on planning on three sessions over a three month period of time in order to get to where you want to be. It is an investment in the life you want.
